Education of a child in the age of 0 to 6 years ( Early Childhood Care Education) is being recognized as
crucial for the optimal development of child. To ensure quality education, a careful training of Pre-school
teacher rather mother is essential. Early Childhood Care Education is important for the overall development of
child. In the first six years life span of a child the rate of development is more rapid than at any other stage. To
develop child’s full potential, a child in this age needs a ‘stimulation environment.’ With the perpetually increasing
number of mothers joining the work force, the break-up of traditional joint family system and mounting tensions
and preoccupation of parents resulting from the existing life styles, children often do not get benefit of stimulating
environment. Many parents are not able to interact with children or help them develop appropriate language
and cognitive skills. If a child is brought up in a deprived environment in the first six years of his life, it
is likely to have adverse effects on his/her development, particularly his/her intellectual and language development.
Unfortunately, large majority of children in our country grow up in such environment. Our institution is putting a first step in this area by starting a course titled “Adarsh Montessori Training Course for female for bright future of children of our nation.
